So. You have found us.

We are the Galactic Foreign Legion.
We were outcasts.
We were misfits.
We were fugitives.

We are enemies of the State.
We are everything our home nations detest.

We are Shadow Fleet.

To have found us, you have had to be looking for us, for we keep a low profile.

We are the dread of all the galaxy. We are fearless and we are ruthless. We care not for the laws of the Federation or the petty treaties of the Klinzhai or the pitiful needs of the Rihannsu. We respect not the kingdom of the Hydran nor the governments of the Lyranation nor the alliances of the Gorn Confederation.

The justice imposed by one race is simply an injustice against another.

We do pay attention to their woeful discourses. We are beings whom have experienced the fiercest of battle and have witnessed the horrific things of war. Enough to make a common being wretch in putrid disgust.

However, we are not a disorganized rag-tag band of rebels.

Rather, we are the most organized and disciplined of all the so-called professional fleets you will see, or ever to be seen. We are rough, chiseled and ready for anything. For we are, as some would say, the mercenaries - or menace - of the galaxy.

When a race or fleet needs assistance, we are there. When a fleet needs an edge, we are there. When a coup d\\'e-tat is in the air, we can be found fanning the wind - for the right price.

If you think you have what it takes to become a proud member of the Galactic Foreign Legion, and better still: The Shadow Fleet, you may already be wrong.

However, we will give you the benefit of doubt.

If you can handle strict discipline, covert missions, counterintelligence application and detailed study into the tactics and idiosyncrasies of your choice of the seven forces of Shadow Fleet, we may allow you into our fold.

Once here, you will become a member of the most tightly bound brotherhood in the galaxy. But be forewarned, entrance is not a simple task.
